Rosezella (Huffman) Brooks, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1931 to Bennie Earl and Lida M. (Mortimore) Huffman in Noblesville, Indiana.
Rosezella married Homer R. Brooks who preceded her in death on November 15, 2006. She is fondly remembered as Rosie who worked at Hayden Drugs, where she served her homemade soups, sandwiches and pies, along with a smile for all.
She is survived by her three children, Bruce (Mary H.) Brooks of Noblesville, Michael (Mary E.) Brooks of Atlanta, and Susan (Tom) Eisman of Atlanta. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren of whom she was quite proud, Chad (Chanda) Brooks, Michael (Cathy) Brooks, Trent Brooks, Kelly (Jon) Williams, Amy (Marc) Crandall, Matthew Eisman, Luke (Candice) Eisman, Lindsey Brooks; and nine great-grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces & nephews who loved her, and a special dog named Sally.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
