Roy Eugene Ginder, Sr., 73, Arcadia, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at home. He was born August 16, 1935 in Noblesville, Indiana to John and Rachel (Stottlemyer) Ginder.
Roy retired in 2002 after 32 years with the Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis. He had also been a farmer and owner of a stone hauling business.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann (Bolander) Ginder; children Roy E. (Jeanne) Ginder, Jr., Leeann Harville, James Ginder, Andrea (Chris) Woodruff, Bob (Rhonda) Ginder, & Megan (Kevin) Enright; grandchildren, Allison Ginder, Katilyn Ginder, Shelby & Brandon Woodruff, McKenzie & Keegan Enright, Adam & Steven Ginder, & Shawn Stratton; brother, Ralph (Alberta) Ginder; sister-in-law, Barbara Ginder; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Flossie Tharp, Ellen Bannon, & Roseanna Ward; brothers, Joe & Fred Ginder; and daughter, Melissa Ginder.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Chaplain Anthony Schommer officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, March 25, 4:00 - 7:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
