Ruby Jewel Crawford, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on March 4, 1928 to Verbal and Annie Mae (Lovingood) Steele in Madisonville, Tennessee.
Ruby was a 1948 graduate of Madisonville High School. She was a Homemaker, plus worked many years as a manicurist. She was a member of First Christian Church of Noblesville; an avid golfer and member of Harbour Trees Golf Club, Noblesville.
She is survived by son, Phillip (Libby) Bledsoe; sisters, Vinna Sue (Jim) Kirklin & Sandy (Sam) Boone; brothers, Tom (Leslie) Steele & Bobby (Yvonne) Steele; 12 nieces & nephews; husband, Dr. Ted Crawford; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and step-sons, Kent Crawford, of Colorado; and Scott (Sharon) Crawford, of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Watson; brothers, Ross Steele & Roscoe Steele; sons, Scott Bledsoe & Randall Bledsoe.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Jane Stanley officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm immediately prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
