Russ L. White,68, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 29, 1949 to James and Imogene (Gill) White in Marion, Indiana. Russ was a district supervisor with United Telephone for 17 years. After that he had worked as a financial advisor for Ameriprise and was an adjunct instructor for Indiana Wesleyan, where he taught graduate courses. He proudly served his country with the United States Army and was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Noblesville. Russ was very scholarly and loved to learn, read and teach. He enjoyed teaching the 'Happy Gleaners' Sunday school class and fellowshipping with his Tuesday morning men's 'Romeo Group'. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. He loved being outside in his yard, enjoying wildlife, board games, and was very handy with an ability to fix anything. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth 'Liz' White; three children, Russ L. (Mindy) White II, Scott J. (Erin) White and Andrea S. (Kraig) Kincaid; and grandchildren, Rebekah & Lucas, Madison, Brayden & Jackson, and Kolton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Perry J. White. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 16000 Cumberland Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Burial will be at Troy Presbyterian Cemetery in Columbia City, IN.
