Ruth M. Berg, 96, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home in Noblesville, IN.  She was born on March 11, 1922 to Charles and Ruby (Lydy) Meara.
Ruth worked for Fort Benjamin Harrison as the Offpost Housing Referral Officer until she retired. She is the oldest living member of First Christian Church of Noblesville. Ruth loved life, music, people, and animals. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. Ruth loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Mary) Hollingsworth; daughter, Marilyn (Steve) Hollingsworth Musselman; step-daughter, Marsha (Stan) Berg Renner; grandchildren, Emily (Jeff) Musselman Sorenson, Melissa (Ross) Musselman Winkleman, and Kaleb T Hollingsworth; step-grandchildren, Chris Renner, Katie Olse, Mike Renner, and Matt Chrisman; siblings, Captain Patt Meara and Betty Stevenson; cousin, Ross Callahan; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben D. Berg; sister, Shirley Thomas; and her step-son, Steve Berg.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at First Christian Church of Noblesville, 16377 Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville,IN.
