S. Denny Pharis

S. Denny Pharis, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 4, 1952 to Hurshey and Mary (Isaac) Pharis in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Denny worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, deer and mushroom hunting, and he loved to drive along country roads.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Pharis; children, Shannon Pharis-Woods, Denny (Lisa) Pharis II, and Tiffany Pharis; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Ann (Jim) Earl, John (Glenda) Pharis; and a very special cousin, Betty Glyn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Christopher Owen Pharis; siblings, Charlie, Joy Ray, Bobby, Jerry, and Hurshey Clayton Pharis.
Services will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
