Samuel Stoops

Samuel Mark Stoops, 49, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at home. He was born on May 3, 1963 to Billy and Ruth (Guilkey) Stoops in Noblesville. His father precedes him in death.
Sam owned Stoops Excavating in Noblesville for 30 years. He was a graduate of Noblesville High School and a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Noblesville; as well as the Noblesville Eagles, Noblesville Moose Lodge and the Noblesville Elks. Steel and concrete were his passions; and he loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth A. Stoops; son, Samuel (Whitney Orr) Stoops; sisters, Susan (Denis) Scott, Sandy (James Gibbons) Poor & Sara (Roy) Hammond; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the funeral home, with Pastor Andrew Marshall officiating.
