Sara worked at McMahon Foods for many years until she retired. She was a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to her children all her life. She was a member of Cyntheanne Christian Church where she attended regularly; was a golfer; and loved her dog, Odie, her flowers, and computer games.
Those left behind to cherish her memory, include her husband, Calvin "Tom" Hollowood; her sisters, Sammie Amick and Linda Riggin; her four children, Teresa Foreman Davis (Rick Huffman), Denise Foreman (Scott) Broady, Kenneth (Diane) Foreman and Beth Foreman (Bobbie) Garrison; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six step-children, Ronald (Ona) Foreman, Vickie (Randy) Bunting, Cherie Foreman, Karen (John) McCoy, Elaine (Scott) Marvin and Brian Hollowood; and many step-grandchildren.
She is rejoicing in Heaven with her parents, Ralph and Mary Cummins; her younger sister, Sue Ann Cummins; and many family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with funeral services beginning at 7:00 pm. Rev. Larry Renihan will officiate. Private burial will be on Friday at Lewisville, Indiana.
Sara's family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Community North Oncology for all their loving care and kindness they have shown to Sara for many years. May God's peace fall on all who loved Sara. Shared joy is double joy, shared sorrow is half sorrow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society; her church, Cyntheanne Christian Church; or Hamilton County Humane Shelter, where she got Odie, her loving companion.
