Sarah "Sally" Sauer
Sarah "Sally" Sauer, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on July 6, 1925 to Lee and Esther (Morey) Hain in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in 1947, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville, where she was active in the ladies group. She was formerly of Downers Grove, Illinois, and loved to play bridge. Sarah was involved with A.A.U.W., Newcomers, and Welcome Wagon over the years.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert L. Sauer; sons, David Sauer, Roger Sauer, and Philip Sauer; and grandson, Neil Sauer.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Gardner.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church, 1207 Conner Street, in Noblesville.
