Scott R. Hartman

Scott R. Hartman, 37, of Noblesville, IN, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 in Newport, TN. He was born on October 28, 1977 to Jerry and Jean (Hillbish) Hartman in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His father precedes him in death.
Scott was the Quality Systems Manager, N. America at Sealed Air in Greenville, SC. He was a graduate of Purdue University, with B.A. in Biology as well as an M.B.A. Scott was an active member of his church, Brandywine Community Church, in Greenfield, IN. He was involved in youth, orphan, and prayer ministries here, but his greatest passion was dedicating his time to helping the Christ Compassion Orphanage in Haiti. Scott's service was not limited to his work in Haiti or his church; he was also a dedicated foster parent. Scott was a compassionate, loyal friend to all who entered his life, but most importantly, he was an incredibly loving and devoted father and husband.
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth (Hake) Hartman; his four children, Charles, Jacob, Riley, and Mason; mother, Jean (Hillbish) Hartman; sister, Cathy (Jeff) Miller; nephew, Stephen Miller; father-in-law, Gary Hake; mother-in-law, Tammie Hake; sister-in-law, Jessie Hake; sister-in-law, Carrie (Brad) Rosebrock; niece, Grace Rosebrock; and step-mother, Carol Hartman.
A memorial will be held for Scott from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a service beginning at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Brandywine Community Church in Greenfield, IN. Pastor Mark Wright will officiate. A private burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Compassion Orphanage in Haiti. Donations may be sent to Brandywine Community Church, 1551 East New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140; please include Hartman C.C.O in the memo line of all checks.
