Shannon Dean Kitchens

Shannon Dean Kitchens, 55, of McCordsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. He was born on June 28, 1960 in Elwood, Indiana.
For over 30 years, Shannon worked as a welder, working for Bill Kitchens Body Shop early in life. He attended Calvary Baptist Church, was always a giving person, and was a loving son and caretaker to his mom. Shannon loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Shannon is survived by his mother, Nola Eicher; children, Jason Dean Kitchens (fiancé, Jennifer Hargis), Joshua Alan Kitchens, Jamie Lynn (James J.) Caldwell, Jared Wayne Kitchens (girlfriend, Kelly Hart) and Jennifer Nichole (William) Burdine; brother, Jeff Kitchens; eight grandchildren; girlfriend, Liz Burton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Kitchens; step-father, Carol "Ike" Eicher; and several aunts & uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, 197 South 9th Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service. Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate.
