Shirley Ann (Unger) Hefferon, 83, Noblesville, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born June 3, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Austin Victor and Helen (Arnell) Unger.
Shirley was a homemaker and a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Hefferon; son, Mike (& Teri) Hefferon of St. Charles, MO; daughters, Christine (& Larry) Person of Carleton, MI, and Terry (& Allen) Smith of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Kelly (& Jason) Capps, Brad Hefferon, Sara Smith, and Traci Smith; sister, Mary Frances Cumming of Michigan; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Springmill Road, Westfield, on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 2:00 PM, with Father Kevin Haines officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville will be handling the arrangements.
