Shirley Lee Jones

Shirley Lee Jones, 85, of Bakers Corner, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  She was born on May 4, 1934 to Elmer and Malena (Doyle) Jay in Fairmount, Indiana.

Shirley was a former member of Maple Park Wesleyan Church.  She loved playing music and ran a cake decorating business for 29 years.  Shirley supported the Hinkle Elementary School music program.  She loved baking cookies and giving them away.

Shirley is survived by her children, Patsy Savage, Steve (Tammy) Jones, Max W. Jones, and Nancy Jones (Stan) Horn; sister, Bernetta Cruzan; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Miller Jones; and her brother-in-law, Charlie Cruzan.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.  Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Atlanta.
