Shirley Ann Oyler, 76, of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on August 3, 1936 to Paul and Verden (Whitmore) Daywalt in Noblesville, Indiana.
Shirley worked as an Accredited Records Technician at Hawley Army Hospital in Ft. Benjamin Harrison for 30 years, and was a member of Union United Methodist Church where she was the pianist for many years. She participated in the Silvernotes, and enjoyed square dancing with the Do-Si-Do's.
She is survived by son, David (Sherie) Oyler; daughters, Barbara Ann Oyler, Denise (Jon) Torres, Michelle Oyler; sister, Sandra Fetty; brothers, Morris (Joanne) Daywalt, Paul Daywalt, John (Suzette) Daywalt; grandchildren, Sanda, Stephanie, Amanda, and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Daniel, Michelle, Samuel, Cadence, and Jacob.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Oyler in 1994; and brother, Bill Whitmore.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Rick Rhoads officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
