Sonia Jensen

Sonia Marie (d'Albertis) Jensen, 81, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at home. She was born February 6, 1927 in Greenwich Village, New York, to Louis Pierre and Anna (Naro) d'Albertis.
Sonia had been a nurse for 20 years in the ICU and CCU at South Nassau Hospital. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, in Westfield.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Jensen; one son, Henry (& Evelyn) Jensen; five daughters, Marie Jensen, Evelyn (& Paul) Ortiz, Stephanie (& Ken) McDowell, Elisa (& Bob) Miller, Anne (& Stan) Collins; a brother, Pierre d'Albertis; a sister-in-law, Doris Smyth d'Albertis; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Fredrick Jensen; and a brother, Louis d'Albertis.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 30, at 3:00PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with calling beginning at 1:00PM. Father Kevin Haines of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church will officiate.
