Sonja D. Plank, 73, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on November 18, 1944 to Herbert and Thelma (Nicholas) Sullivan in Dayton, Ohio. Sonja worked as a teacher for many years, having received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Indiana University. Later, she became a sales representative with Anderson Industries, servicing Walmart. She enjoyed crosswords and board games, and had a love for antiques; but her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter and nieces & nephews. She is survived by her brother, Rusty (Linda) Sullivan; daughter-in-law, Karen Hemberger; granddaughter, Luise Sullivan; and nieces & nephews, Eric (Laura), Justin, Conner, Benjamin, Lauren, Kaiden and Addison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shane Sullivan. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Good Shepherd Chapel, 9700 Allisonville Road in Indianapolis, with Rev. Stanley R.
