Stanley Eugene Urban, Jr

Stanley Eugene Urban Jr., 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his home.  He was born on October 2, 1943 to Stanley and Etruia (Hill) Urban in Anderson, Indiana.

Stan proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked for the Shell Oil Company and his last assignment was managing the plant in Providence, Rhode Island. Stan and Jeanne retired early to travel. They spent some time working at Yellowstone, Disney World, and Sea World, and they enjoyed spending winters in Sarasota Bay, Florida. Stan was an avid reader, loved listening to music, and cheering for his grandchildren at their activities. He had a big sense of humor and was the best Papaw ever. 

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Urban; children, Traci (Tom) Schath and Greg (Christine) Urban; grandchildren, Spencer, Nicole, Madison, Rachel, and Katie; and brother, Noel David Urban.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley E. Urban, Sr.; mother, Etruia (Hill) Hess; and his brothers, Dana Urban and Monte Urban.

Private family services will be held with military rites.
