Steve Wyatt, 65, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 29, 1956 to Curtis and Evelyn (Brewer) Wyatt in Noblesville, Indiana.
Steve was a 1974 graduate of Noblesville High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Japan. For 20 years he worked as a welder; his last job before retirement was at Helmer Labs. Steve loved college basketball and football and was a big IU fan. He was a member of the American Legion and loved a good joke; he always had one to come back with. Steve loved listening to the oldies and be outdoors sitting and watching the birds and tending to his flowers.
He is survived by his sister, Debbie (Randy) Mullins; nephews, Josh (Carol) Watkins, Tommy (Jess) Watkins and Justin Vickery; several great-nieces & great-nephews; step-children, Carol Thomas, Michele Stevens, Joe Covey and Barb Covey; step-grandchildren, Michael Covey, Kayla Osborn, Lyndsay Montgomery, Taylor Jones, Spencer Jones, Braden Jones, Cara Ancil and Bryce Ancil; great-grandchildren, Jordon, Andrew, Kaysen, Raelynn & Renlee Montgomery and Maddie & Braxton Studebaker; aunts & uncles, Bill & Ann Thornton and Carl & Madelyn Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Kay Wyatt; brother, John T. Wyatt; grandparents, Bert & Purney Brewer and Carl & Geneva Wyatt; nephew, Nathan Watkins; step-daughter, Kim Covey; step-grandson, Christian Stevens; and his best friend, Bruce Pennington.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
