Steven Kranda

Steven A. Kranda, 55, of Westfield, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Steve was born on January 30, 1955 to Robert and Virginia (Poile) Kranda in Columbus, Ohio.  
Steve was a 1973 graduate of Penn High School and graduated from Indiana University in 1979 (BA) and 2005 (BSN). Steve is a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield and the school nurse at Westfield Intermediate School.  Prior to moving to Westfield in 1999, Steve served the Mishawaka Community for 18 years as a Paramedic.  Throughout Steve's illness, even on his worst days, he wanted simply to go to work and care for the kids at WIS.  
Steve is survived by his wife, Beth (Morrison) Kranda; his three children, Matt, Stephanie & Brooke; brothers, Greg Kranda of New Castle, IN & Bob Kranda of South Bend, IN; and a sister, Patty Kranda of Littleton, CO.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (2008), father, Robert (2009) and sister, Mary Sell (2008) in Littleton, CO.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Westfield, IN with Fr. Kevin Haines. Visitation is Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Rd, Noblesville with burial at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
