Suzie Huber, 71, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on January 21, 1947 to Ralph and Evelyn (Jennings) Stoops in Noblesville, Indiana.
Suzie was a graduate of Noblesville High School and Ball State University. She was a teacher for Noblesville Schools for over 30 years. Suzie was an avid BSU and NHS sports fan. She was a member of the Cardinal Varsity Club Board of Directors, President of the Retired Teachers Board, and an FACS Alumni Board member. Suzie received the Outstanding Indiana Citizen Award from Gov. Mitch Daniels. She enjoyed volunteering at Riverview Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Huber; daughters, Jody (Larry) DeFoe and Micha Huber; sister, Carole Derrick; grandchildren, Tristyn, Noah, and Tad DeFoe and Reis, Maci, and Jace Huber; great-grandchild, Easton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Stoops.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville at the funeral home.
