Theresa Gladys Zuchowski Coffey

Theresa Gladys Zuchowski Coffey, 91, of Fishers, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 22, 2023.  She was born on February 21, 1932 to Walter and Tillie (Krol) Zuchowski in Middletown, Connecticut.

Terry attended local schools and then attended Morse College where she met her husband of 68 years, Jim Coffey.  They moved to Great Barrington in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts where they raised their four children.  Terry was very active with St. Peter's Catholic Church where she taught religious education and was a eucharistic minister as well as serving as the parish secretary for a number of years.  She was also involved in the Thursday Morning Club in Great Barrington.  She and Jim moved to Fishers, Indiana in 2003.  Terry was an active member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, and a member of the St. Anne's Group.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Jim Coffey.  She is survived by her children, Thomas Coffey (Pat) of Indianapolis, IN, Kevin Coffey (Joni) of Fredonia, PA, Jack Coffey (Kathy Mele) of Pittsfield, MA, and Carol (Steve) Werling of Fishers.  Terry is also survived by her sister, Jane McKenzie of South Carolina; 8 grandchildren, Anne, Michael, Patrick, Dustin, Grace, Andrew, Alaina and Peter; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road in Fishers.  Calling will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the church.  The Burial will be in Great Barrington, Massachusetts at a later date.
