Thomas Dwayne Deaton

Thomas Dwayne Deaton, 58, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1965 to Paul and Helen Sue (Bailey) Deaton in Noblesville, Indiana. Tom was known for his charismatic spirit and his legendary carpentry skills which contributed to several iconic buildings in Indiana.

Tom was a die-hard NASCAR fan and cherished the times spent with his friends, sharing laughs and good times. Above all, he was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen Sue, and his brother Johnny Frank. He leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance through his daughter, Amanda Deaton; his son, Blaine Deaton; and his grandchildren, Cheyanne Deaton, Logan Pirtle, and Skylar Gibson. He is also survived by his father, Paul Deaton; brother, Paul "Butch" (Sandra) Deaton; sister, Julia Morse; and his loving girlfriend, Jennifer LaGore.  

Tom, also known as the Tomcat, was a true original-uncontrollable by anyone but his mother and admired for his unwavering dedication to his family and his craft. His proud legacy lives on through his children and the iconic buildings he helped build such as the RCA Dome, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Circle Centre Mall, the Bottleworks Hotel, and Market Square Tower.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, Indiana, from 5-8PM on Friday May 10th, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support Blaine Deaton in continuing Tom's legacy and covering his arrangements.

Tom's memory will forever be a beacon for all who knew him, embodying his beliefs in hard work, protecting loved ones, and enjoying life to the fullest.
