Thomas W. Jarrett

Thomas W. Jarrett, 39, of Westfield, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 after battling a debilitating disease for nearly a decade. He was born on April 16, 1977 to Paul and Marty (Alley) Jarrett in Indianapolis, IN.
Tom's faith and love of his Savior, Jesus Christ, was evident to all who knew him. He was a man of deep love, kindness and selflessness towards others even when battling an extremely painful disease. He married his high school sweetheart and together they enjoyed a life full of God-given joy with their two sons, extended family, church body and friends even during years of suffering. Tom was a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) for The Wealth Design Center and Jarrett Financial Group for over 10 years. He loved being outdoors, fishing, backpacking, playing and watching basketball and sports of all kinds, but most of all, he took great pride and joy in his sons and loved watching them play sports. Tom was a big advocate for his illness, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), and he loved to ride his recumbent trike, when he was able, that waved a flag with "Freedom" written on it to help him continue to be active in spite of the disease that eventually caused him to be bedbound.
In addition to his father, Tom is survived by his wife, Christine Jarrett; sons, Austin Jarrett & Andrew Jarrett; siblings, Pat (Lisa) Jarrett, Jon (Sharon) Jarrett, Beth Jarrett, Susanna (Chris) Gordon, Becki (Peter) Burke, Debbye (Aaron) Biermann, Laura (Keisuke) Noguchi, Amy Jarrett, and Rachel Jarrett; father-in-law, John Graham; mother-in-law, Linda (Boruff) Graham; sister-in-law, Jenny (Jim) Flueckiger; 35 nieces and nephews; and one great nephew, Tommy, who is named after him.
In addition to his mother, Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul & Betty Jo Jarrett, and Harry & Frances Alley.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zionsville Fellowship, 9090 W Oak Street, Zionsville, IN 46077. Services will be held on Friday, July 29 at 10:00 AM at Zionsville Fellowship, with Pastor Don Bartemus and Pastor Edgar Momoh officiating. Burial will be at Union Lutheran cemetery in Zionsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's honor to a Trust Fund for his sons, Austin & Andrew; or research for his illness, ME.
