Tulia R.(Carbarcas) Smith, 84, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born April 11, 1924 in Balboa, Panama.
Tulia worked for Drago & Co. of Hicksville, NY as a seamstress and was a Deborah Hospital Society volunteer. She was also member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville.
She is survived by her son, Edward J. Dougherty of Noblesville; son, Thomas J. Dougherty of
; and three grandchildren, Heather Dougherty, Theresa Suchanek, Bryan Dougherty.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter Smith, who passed away in 1985.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call Wednesday, March 25, 10:00 - 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
