Valda Jean Hutchens

Valda Jean Hutchens, 93, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Keystone Woods Assisted Living in Anderson. She was born on January 22, 1924 to George and Cliffie (Lansford) Gillespie in Decatur, Illinois.
Jean was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and friends. She was a member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ in Anderson.
Jean is survived by her children, Donna (Steve) McCormick, Kevin (Linda) Hutchens, and Ellen Hensley (Pat Stephens); sister, Anna Lee DePew; eight grandchildren, Troy, Tony (Christie) & Terry (Shelia) Young, Michelle (Clint) Sigmon, Lee Ann Jones, Brandon (Katie) Hutchens, Stephanie (David) Webb, and Kasey Andrews; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hutchens; brothers, Russell, John, Jack and George Gillespie; and sisters, Bertha Newlin, Margurite Murfin, and infant Lucille Gillespie.
Private family services will be held at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Anderson.
