Victor V. Snider, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville. He was born on November 17, 1922 to Virgil and Lula (Moody) Snider in Muncie, Indiana.
Victor retired from Allison's after 38 years of service. He was a 1948 graduate of Purdue University and a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church. He proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Army, serving in Europe and Japan during WWII. He was a member of the Broad Ripple Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and the Blatchley Nature Study Club (where he was formerly their treasurer); and enjoyed attending the Indy 500 race.
He is survived by wife, Alice Legros Snider; daughters, Julianne (John Simmons) Snider & Susan (Peter) Haviar; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, John Victor Snider; and brother, Harold Snider.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Eaton, IN, at approximately 2:00 pm.
