Victor Van Dwight Wilson, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on August 16, 1929 to Ralph and Esta Mildred (Carroll) Wilson in Tipton, Indiana.
For 38 years, Victor served as Master Sergeant for the Indiana National Guard. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and a was veteran of Desert Storm. Victor was a member of the Noblesville American Legion and Noblesville Masonic Lodge.
Victor is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Wilson of Noblesville; son, Van Wilson and his wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Jan Wenke and her husband, Joe; two sisters, Juanita Griggs and Dana Rich; and 4 grandchildren, Kally Wilson, and Joey, Jacob, and Jeremiah Wenke.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jimmy Rex, Walton Wilson and Lowell Wilson; and 1 sister, Judy Rushforth.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, with Masonic Services beginning at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
