Vidya Matharu

Vidya Matharu, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1938 to Hazara Singh and Balwant Kaur in Lahore, Pakistan. Her parents preceded her in death.
Vidya was a retired school principal in India.
She is survived by her husband, Jogindar Singh Matharu; daughter, Surinder (Narinder) Sandhu, and her children, Dilpreet S., Sanampreet, and Sunderpreet Sandhu; daughter, Madhu Patel, and her children, Amrish & Priti Patel; daughter, Kalpana Kaur, and her children, Jasmeet, Binu, & Nanu; and son, Devendra S. Matharu, and his children, Amy & Anikait Matharu.
Services will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
