Virgil B. Risden

Virgil B. Risden, 76, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born May 11, 1933 in St. Charles, Virginia to James T. and Virginia (Sheperd) Risden.
Virgil was retired from Firestone Industrial Products where he had worked for 27 years. He was a member Noblesville Baptist Church. Virgil served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 6246, the American Legion Post 45,  and the I.O.O.F. Lodge 155 in Pennington Gap, VA.
Virgil is survived by his wife, June Risden; grandson, Charles Bradley Baldwin; 2 great-grandsons; brothers, Bruce and Raymond Risden; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Virgil was preceded in death by daughter, Debra Kyle Baldwin and son, Bryan Risden.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Noblesville Baptist Church, 1338 E. Pleasant Street, Noblesville, with Pastor Gene Parker officiating. Friends may call Friday, October 30, 4:00 -7:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home on Logan Street in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
