Virginia Mills Butler, 91, Noblesville, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Clare Bridge of Carmel.
She was born June 26, 1918 in Veedersburg, Indiana to Orlando Monroe and Marie (Gookins) Mills.
She was married to Joe Clover Butler for 56 years. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Virginia was trained at John Huron School of Art as a commercial artist. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, where she was very active in various groups and loved to make banners and decorate for holidays and bazaars. She loved being a guide at Conner Prairie; and especially loved her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, James Mills (Rita) Butler and John Clover (Kristin) Butler both of Noblesville; one daughter, Sarah 'Sally' (Luke) Kenley of Noblesville; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11:00AM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St, Noblesville, with Pastor Jack Wolfe officiating. Calling will be on Sunday, May 23 from 2:00 - 4:00PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, Noblesville, Indiana -or- Alzheimer's Association, 50 E. 91st St. Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830.
