Virginia Lee Perry

Virginia Lee Perry, 84, of Westfield, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Riverview TCU in Noblesville. She was born on June 7, 1931 to Brooks and Marion (Ross) Short in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Virginia was a member of Alpha Delta Pi at Purdue University, and was one of the first women in Purdue's Chemical Engineering Program. She was an exceptionally bright student in both high school and college. Virginia loved to sew and knit, and was one of 3 loving sisters. She previously attended Noblesville First United Methodist Church.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Kim (Barry) Kiesel; son, Mike Tippey; grandchildren, Nicholas Peskoe and Kellie Tippey; and sisters, Marion (James) Hoffmeyer, Thelma (Robert) Ploughe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Russel Perry; and granddaughter, Kathryn Ann Peskoe.
Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service. Chaplain Susan Jacques will officiate. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
