Virginia Winifred VanTreese

Virginia Winifred VanTreese, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home.  She was born on March 22, 1941 to Charles and W. Louise (Smith) Stephenson in Iron City, Tennessee.

Virginia was a life-long resident of Noblesville and graduated from Noblesville High School in 1958.  She worked for Young Packing Company and was an excellent cook.  Virginia loved her dogs, loved music, and loved watching PBS.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Chapman; son, Mark Chapman; grandson, Austin; brother, Ralph (Linda) Stephenson; sister, Edie (Jack) Hazelwood; niece, Valerie (Todd) Roberts; nephews, Bryan Wheeler and Gene Wheeler; great-nephews, Christopher & Nick Roberts.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ray K. VanTreese; and her sister, Vernon Wheeler.

Private graveside services will be held at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
