Virginia Frances Ruemler Weston, 88, of Noblesville, was called to be an angel in Heaven on September 20, 2014. At 88, Virginia "Gigi" had untold faith in the love of God, an abundance of energy, and the love of a very large extended family. Her valiant battle is finally over and we are so happy she is living in the presence of God and her beautiful face is calm and peaceful again.
The family would like to thank and adorn with praise, so many different people who have come into our lives because of cancer, and touched our family by cards, food, phone calls, texts, visits, hugs and more. Special thanks go to Dr. Michael Callahan, St. Vincent's Gynecology and Oncology for his extra comforting care, wit and wisdom and allowing Gigi to lead her life in comfort for over a year; her beloved health nurses, Amber and Molly, who helped us so much this last year by their quiet calm, wealth of information and always answering our phone calls when we were not of sound mind; the staff and gals from Senior1Care; and our home nurses who became part of Gigi's extended family.
We can't thank enough, Gigi's faithful Pastor, Tim Krupski, from Lord of Life Lutheran Church, in Westfield. Pastor Tim came, when most needed, without being asked. Even when we doubted, Pastor Tim and Gigi had a relationship with God unparalleled - never questioning, never wavering. Also, thank you the staff and friends at A Corner Cottage for their unending support and remembrances of love; the members of Lord of Life Lutheran Church who showered Mom with love and attention, and so many prayers.
Gigi is survived by three daughters, Sue (Ron) Logan, Peggy (Roger) Kumler, and Nancy (Frank) Zavada; brothers, Arnold (Edythe) Ruemler, Glenn (Eileen) Ruemler both of Reynolds, IN, Art (Donna) Ruemler, of Otterbein, IN; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a large host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and special friends from wherever her feet led her, who enjoyed her laughter and presence daily. We feel so blessed to have forever memories with our precious Mom.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lottie (Hays)Ruemler; three brothers, Robert, Fred Jr. and Norman all of Reynolds; and longtime special friend, John Fetter, of Indianapolis, all of whom will be dancing with "Ginya" in Heaven.
