Walter Jordan

Walter F. Jordan, 54, of Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 5, 1959 to Joseph and Martha (Lunt) Jordan in Indianapolis, Indiana. His parents precede him in death.
Walter worked for Elsevier as a top sales representative for more than 25 years. He played as an All-State defensive tackle and football captain for Carmel High School, and was a 4 year letterman; and All-Conference defensive tackle at Ball State. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta, loved music; and riding his bike. He was an avid reader, and knew how to light up a room with his tremendous sense of humor. He will be missed by many friends and family.
He is survived by his children, Mallory and Joshua Jordan; siblings, Chris Sieker, John Jordan, Tom Jordan, Meg Pickett, Scott Jordan, Missie Jordan, and Cathy Haskett; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 3100 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
