Ward L. 'Buckwheat' Boggs, 62, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born August 27, 1946 in Noblesville, to Harold and Maxine (Boone) Boggs.
Buckwheat was owner and operator of Boggs Wrecker Service in Noblesville, which was established in 1946. He was a member of the Fishers Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Bell) Boggs; daughters, Melissa Boggs, & Angela (Russ) Franz; son, Dennis Russ Jr. (& Wanda); father & mother in-law, Paul & Emma Bell; one sister; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 2, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Steve Fair officiating. Friends may call Sunday, February 1, 2:00 - 6:00PM and Monday, February 2, 12:00 - 2:00PM at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 6:00PM following Sunday's visitation. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
