Willard Turner, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on December 1, 1931 to William and Eva (Davis) Turner in Pennington Gap, Virginia.
Willard was retired from the Pendleton Reformatory; and had also been a bartender at the Noblesville American Legion, where he had been a lifetime member. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army; and had been a member of the Landmark Quartet and the Friendship Quartet for many years.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Turner; son, Chris (Kristin) Turner; daughters, Rhonda (David) Barker, Debbie (Wayne) Thomas, Cathy Seymour and Melissa (Barry) Fleenor; brother, Burlin Turner; sister, Carrie Justice; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Tim Turner; and daughter, Mitzi Hoffman.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
