William 'Bill' Warner Baxter, 63, of Eddyville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017. At the time of his passing, Bill resided in Nashville, TN with his companion, Trudy Hardin. He was born on March 24, 1954 to David and Marion (Bonner) Baxter in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He retired from Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson, KY where he had been the CFO. Bill was an avid IU basketball fan and he enjoyed traveling and listening to jazz. More than anything, he loved spending time on Lake Barkley enjoying time with his family and beloved pets.
He is survived by parents, David & Grace Baxter; six children, sons William Jeffrey (Lori) Baxter and David Aaron (Sarah) Baxter; Jason Miller, Brent (Angel) Miller and Adam (Kristy) Miller; daughter Addey (E.J.) Boyd; and 14 grandchildren, as well as his first wife, Christine (Berron) Baxter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rea Baxter; his son, Christopher Ryan Baxter; his brother, Jay Baxter and his mother Marion Bonner.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Geist Christian Church, 8550 Mud Creek Road in Indianapolis, with Rev. Ryan Hazen officiating.
