William Garwood

William E. Garwood , 82, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at IU Health Saxony in Fishers.  He was born on March 8, 1939 to Ivan and Lucille (Shafer) Garwood in Decatur, Indiana.

William proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He worked in home improvement sales for many years before retiring. William enjoyed baseball and IU basketball. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Judith (Boggess) Garwood; children, Theresa Rehder, Barry (Pam) Garwood, and Derek (Kristy) Garwood; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Shuster; and son, Steve Garwood.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers.
