William Jr. Higgins

William Jr. Higgins, 95, of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born on October 21, 1929 to Gaither and Martha (Hensley) Higgins in Erwin, Tennessee.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy during World War II. He worked as a welder and retired from Sears as a stock clerk. Bill enjoyed gardening, doing crossword puzzles, and watching westerns. He loved playing guitar and listening to country music. Bill loved his hometown of Erwin, Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy (Bob) Aschliman; son, Rudy (Alison) Cline; 2 granddaughters, Melissa (Chris) McGee and Alexandra (Zahran) Elwell; 3 great-grandchildren, Tommy, Mikey & Lizzie and his favorite niece, Martha Tipton.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Faye Higgins in 2019.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
