William Fredrick "Fred" Johnson, 68, of Fishers, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 8, 1943 to Kenneth and Velma (Miller) Johnson in Marion, Indiana.
Fred worked in Personnel and Labor Relations for Ford Motor Company for more than 30 years, retiring in 1997. Prior to that, he was employed by the FBI for two years. He served in the Indiana Army National Guard. He was a member of Holy Family Episcopal Church in Fishers.
He is survived by spouse, Evelyn (Horst) Johnson; daughter, Lori (Tim) Gordon; son, Jeff Johnson; step-daughter, Kelly Vrazel-Gaskins; grandchildren, Bailey and Jackson Gordon, Nathan and Charles Johnson, and Cole and Jade Gaskins.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Holy Family Episcopal Church, 11445 Fishers Pointe Blvd., Fishers, Indiana, with the Reverend Michael Galvin officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. Entombment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis.
