William 'Bud' King, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Rawlins House Health & Living Community in Pendleton. He was born on February 2, 1937 to James W. and Hazel (Lindsey) King in Crittenden County, Kentucky.
Bud had been the owner of an accounting firm for 41 years, and was still actively working. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. He had been a church Elder for over 20 years and had recently become a member of Harbour Shores Church in Cicero. His hobby was raising and showing miniature horses; and he had been on the board of the American Miniature Horse Association in numerous capacities.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Verna King; children, Jackie (Bob) Farris, David (Carol) King, William 'Bud' (Kim) King, Cindy Short, and Shelley King; brother, James 'Ed' (Kathy) King; grandchildren, Robby, Levi & Samantha, Hayley & Andrew, and Justin, Aaron & Kristen; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Bonnie J. Wigginton.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 East 216th Street in Cicero with visitation beginning at 1:00PM immediately prior to the service. Pastor Don Jennings II will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
