William E. McAllister, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon. He was born on August 1, 1924 to Howard and Sarah (Huheey) McAllister in Garrison County, Kentucky.
William retired in 1980, after 25 years as a Design Engineer for Ford. He was a WWII Army veteran; and was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion in both Noblesville and Richmond.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Marie McAllister; son, Daniel McAllister; grandson, Douglas (Michelle) McAllister; two great-grandchildren, Brandon & Danielle McAllister; step-son, Daryl Frith; step-daughter, Victoria Thompson; five step-grandsons; and two step-granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, June McAllister; and daughter, Pam (McAllister) Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Phyllis Hunter officiating. Burial will be at Earlham Cemetery in Richmond.
