Wilma W. Hamblen, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on December 17, 1922 to George and Florence (Jones) Smith in Dunkirk, Indiana.
Wilma was a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, and an active social member of Harbour Trees Golf Club and Kappa Kappa Kappa Beta Epsilon.
She is survived by stepson, David (Carol) Wright of Mississsippi; step-grandchildren, Michael Wright, Vicki Weekley & Karyn Rushing; nephews, David (Pam) Armstrong of Florida & Lloyd (Karen) Howell of Nevada; great-nephews, Dave Armstrong & Chris Armstrong; great-niece, Allison Rentz; great-nephews, Kyle Howell & Jeremy Howell; and brother-in-law, James B. Armstrong of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Verne R. Wright & E. Ray Hamblen; sister, Virginia Armstrong; and stepson, Dick Wright.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
