Wilma Kathleen Heiny, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born on March 16, 1940 to Willis and Geneva (Swinford) King in Noblesville.
Wilma retired in 2005 as transportation coordinator for Noblesville Schools, where she had worked for over 20 years, beginning her career there as a bus driver. She was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville for over 50 years. She enjoyed being around people and loved spending time with her family and friends; and had also been a part-time limousine driver for TLC.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura (Brett) Hopkins and Jill Heiny; sister, Nancy Atterson; grandsons, Jeremy (Stephanie) Hopkins and Joshua (Cassandra) Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Ryker & Vivian Hopkins; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald James Heiny who passed away in 1997; and a nephew, Christopher Atterson.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
