Zoe Ann Terhune

Zoe Terhune, 76, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022.  She was born on February 5, 1946 to Hugh and Florence Eloise (Hobbs) Baughman in Zanesville, Ohio.  Zoe married John Terhune on July 6, 1974.

Zoe graduated from Capital University in 1968 and Indiana University Graduate School in 1973.  She was a math teacher at Lapel High School for 39 years.  While teaching at Lapel, Zoe was a class sponsor, and sponsored the Student Council and the National Honor Society.  She received numerous outstanding teacher awards from her students.

Zoe was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Rebecca Circle, and the church choir.

She is survived by her husband, John Terhune; son, Chris Terhune (Mary Cox); 3 grandchildren, Bell, Gabe and Sam; and her brother, Tom (Becky) Baughman.

In addition to her parents, Zoe was preceded in death by her son, Scott Terhune.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 4 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Services will be held at 11:00 am, with an additional one-hour visitation beginning at 10:00 am, on Monday, December 5 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, in Noblesville.  Pastor Nicole Caldwell-Gross and Pastor Dick Judson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
