Dylan Kyle McGinnis

Dylan Kyle McGinnis, 24, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.  He was born on August 3, 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dylan was a 2016 graduate of Westfield High School and worked as an Electrician with his father for 4 years at SETCO Electric, with intentions of becoming a member of IBEW 481 and carrying on his father’s business.  He enjoyed boating, gaming, and building computers.  Dylan was selfless and found joy in helping others.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Dylan's beautiful soul will be forever cherished by his mother, Nikki (Andrew) Sterling; father, Duncan (Mindy) McGinnis; brother, Devin McGinnis; sister, Alexa McGinnis; grandparents, Dave & Marsha Osborne, and Patty & Larry Cooper; step-grandparents, Don & Sally Julbert, Jackie Sterling & Erick Mize, and Doug Gifford; uncle, Chuck (Robin) Osborne; aunt, Cassie McGinnis; and a host of devoted cousins and friends.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kent McGinnis; and his aunt, Dawn Filiccia.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  An additional visitation will be held from 11:00 am to Noon, with services at Noon, on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the funeral home, with Todd York officiating.  Private family burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.

Dylan was a victim of gun violence while helping a friend battling substance abuse.  Contributions may be made to D.A.R.E. Indiana, 11495 North Pennsylvania Street #103, Carmel, IN 46032, in remembrance of Dylan's dedication to serving others.
